Step-by-step Guide
Step 1: Start Creating Content
There are multiple content types creators are able to use when it comes to creating content on your fanpage. The one type of content you can use is Text.
To start creating content on your fanpage simply head to the home icon on the left navigation bar - from your fanpage you will notice a block "What are we creating today?' here you will be able to create content in the forms of posts where you will be able feature these posts on your fanpage for your fans to view and engage with.
Video content is one of the most dynamic ways to connect with your audience. Whether you're sharing a music video teaser, a behind-the-scenes look at your creative process, or a short promo reel, the video upload tool helps you deliver it all beautifully and seamlessly.
Step 2: How to Add a Video
1. Click the Video Icon
In the post creation widget, click the video icon to start uploading your file.
2. Select and Upload Your Video File
Supported formats typically include MP4, and MOV. Once uploaded, a preview of your video will appear in the post editor.
Step 3: Trim Your Video
After uploading, you can use the built-in trimming tool to:
Cut the start or end of your video for a tighter presentation
Set a duration to fit platform limits or storytelling needs
Preview changes before posting
Trimming is ideal for showcasing just the hook of a track, a highlight from a performance, or a short-form announcement video.
Step 4: Combine Video with Other Content
Videos can be paired with a variety of other elements to enhance your post:
Captions and commentary
@tags for collaborators or brands
Embedded Spotify links or external articles
Image galleries for complementary visuals
Best Practices
Keep videos short and impactful—especially for teaser or social-ready content.
Trim dead space at the start or end to get to the core of your message.
Use high-resolution files for clarity across all devices.
By adding videos, you can elevate your posts from static updates to immersive stories. And with trimming built right in, you stay in control of the message, pacing, and mood—frame by frame.
