Adding Images to your Posts

Updated over 4 months ago

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Start Creating Content

There are multiple content types creators are able to use when it comes to creating content on your fanpage. The one type of content you can use is Text.

To start creating content on your fanpage simply head to the home icon on the left navigation bar - from your fanpage you will notice a block "What are we creating today?' here you will be able to create content in the forms of posts where you will be able feature these posts on your fanpage for your fans to view and engage with.

Step 2: Adding Images to Your Posts

Images are a powerful way to bring your content to life—whether you're sharing behind-the-scenes shots, promotional artwork, performance stills, or moodboard-style visuals. The image uploader allows you to seamlessly add and edit multiple images, and combine them with text, links, music, and more.

How to Add Images

1. Click the Image Icon

In the post creation widget, click the image icon to upload your files.

2. Upload One or More Images
You can select and upload multiple images at once — perfect for creating a visual story or showcasing a photo set.

3. Edit Your Images
Once uploaded, use the built-in editing tools to:

  • Crop your image to focus on the right area

  • Resize to fit your layout and composition

  • Adjust framing for optimal presentation

Combine Images with Other Content

Your post doesn’t need to be image-only. You can easily combine visuals with:

  • Text captions or updates

  • Embedded links (e.g., blog articles, press features)

  • Spotify embeds for tracks or albums

  • @tags and #hashtags for discoverability

Best Practices

  • Use high-quality, properly lit images for the best impact.

  • Tell a visual story by combining images with personal insights or context.

  • Keep layouts clean—use the crop tool to remove distractions and maintain focus.

Step 3: Add Metadata to Your Images

Before or after uploading, you can enrich your images with metadata that appears alongside them in the image UI. This metadata helps give context, credit, or extra information at a glance.

You can add:

  • Title: A brief description or image headline (e.g., "Studio Session – May 2025")

  • Photographer Credit: Tag or credit the creator (e.g., "Photo by @LensLord")

  • Location: Add where the image was taken (e.g., "Berlin, DE")

  • Date: When the image was captured or relevant

  • Alt Text: An optional description for accessibility

This metadata is displayed on hover or tap, depending on the device, and is useful for archiving, accessibility, and storytelling.

Adding images lets your community see the creative process behind your work—and gives your posts a dynamic, polished edge. Whether you're promoting a release or just sharing a moment, images help you connect on a deeper level.
