Adding Live Audio to Your Posts

Updated over 4 months ago

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Start Creating Content

There are multiple content types creators are able to use when it comes to creating content on your fanpage. The one type of content you can use is Voice.

To start creating content on your fanpage simply head to the home icon on the left navigation bar - from your fanpage you will notice a block "What are we creating today?' here you will be able to create content in the forms of posts where you will be able feature these posts on your fanpage for your fans to view and engage with.

Your voice is a powerful part of your creative identity. With the Add Voice feature, you can now record and share voice notes or audio clips — whether you’re speaking to your audience, singing a hook, previewing lyrics, or sharing raw thoughts from your creative flow.

What Is Voice Posting?

Voice posts allow creators to embed short audio recordings directly into their content. Perfect for:

  • Vocal previews

  • Narration or spoken intros

  • Sharing spontaneous ideas or commentary

  • Singing or melody snippets

Step 2: How to Add Voice to Your Post

1. Click the Microphone Icon

In the post creation widget, tap the microphone icon to open the voice recorder.

2. Start Recording

  • Press the Record button to begin.

  • Speak, sing, or perform freely.

  • Press Stop to end the session, and listen back using the playback tool.

3. Preview and Post

You can re-record or trim the clip (if supported), then embed it directly into your post.

Your recordings are private until published. You control what’s shared and when.

Step 3: Combine Voice with Other Content

Voice recordings can be paired with:

  • Text posts (for added context or storytelling)

  • Images or cover art

  • Spotify embeds (to give a spoken intro to a new track)

  • @tags and #hashtags for reach and visibility

Best Practices

  • Find a quiet environment for clarity.

  • Use voice to share emotion, not just information.

  • Pair with relevant visuals or links to add depth.

Whether you're dropping a raw verse, sharing thoughts after a gig, or narrating a visual journey, voice posts make your content more personal, authentic, and human.
