Step 1: Start Creating Content

There are multiple content types creators are able to use when it comes to creating content on your fanpage. The one type of content you can use is Text.

To start creating content on your fanpage simply head to the home icon on the left navigation bar - from your fanpage you will notice a block "What are we creating today?' here you will be able to create content in the forms of posts where you will be able feature these posts on your fanpage for your fans to view and engage with.

Step 2: Tagging Users on Posts using @tags

Tagging users in your posts is a great way to engage directly with team members, acknowledge contributions, or bring someone’s attention to a conversation. By using @tags, you make your posts more interactive and ensure the right people are looped in.

How to Tag Someone

  • Type @ followed by the person’s name or username.

  • A list of matching users will appear—select the correct one to insert the tag.

  • Once tagged, the user will be notified and their name will appear as a clickable link in the post.

When to Use @tags

  • Mention collaborators: Give credit to teammates who helped on a project.

  • Notify stakeholders: Bring a post to someone’s attention directly.

  • Invite input: Ask for feedback or follow-up from a specific person.

Best Practices

  • Be relevant: Only tag users who are involved or would benefit from the post.

  • Be respectful: Avoid excessive tagging to prevent unwanted notifications.

  • Use full names: Helps ensure clarity and correct tagging in larger teams.
