Metadata

The Metadata section provides comprehensive details about the release, including:

  • Metadata Language: The language in which metadata is presented.

  • Release Title and Version: Official name and any versioning information.​

  • Primary and Secondary Genre: Categorization of the release.

  • Label and UPC: The label managing the release and its unique code.

  • Catalog ID: An internal identifier for the release.

  • Copyright Information: Ownership and copyright year.

  • Rights Holder: Entity responsible for managing rights and royalties.

Tracks

The Tracks section lists all tracks included in the release. For each track, you can view:

  • Track Title: The name of the track.

  • Duration: Length of the track in minutes and seconds.

  • Track Number: The position of the track in the release.

  • Audio Preview: Play a short preview of each track directly from the page.

  • Track Metadata: View additional track-specific metadata such as ISRC and contributors.

  • Actions: Edit or update track details directly from this section.

Rights

The Rights section outlines rights management for the release, including:

  • Master Rights: Ownership information for the master recording.

  • Payees: Individuals or entities that receive royalties.

  • Royalty Splits: Breakdown of revenue distribution.

Distribution

The Distribution section allows you to manage and monitor where your release is distributed. Key features include:

  • Click Distribute to initiate or manage the distribution process.

  • Options include distributing to new platforms, or viewing current distribution status.

  • Active Platforms: List of platforms where the release is currently live.

  • Pending and Processing: Platforms where the release is under review or being prepared.

  • Takedown History: Platforms where the release has been removed.

  • Distribution Status: Real-time updates on platform availability and issues.

  • Export Options: Download metadata and distribution reports in CSV or XLSX formats.

Analytics

The Analytics tab tracks performance data, offering insights into:​

  • Streams: Number of times the release has been played.​

  • Revenue: Income generated from the release.​

  • Geographical Distribution: Locations where the release is most popular.​

  • Trends: Performance trends over time.​

Consumption Metrics

  • Total number of streams for the release.

  • Streams filtered by specific criteria.

  • Streams by DSP, like Spotify and Apple Music.

  • Filters:

    • Exclude platforms like TikTok.

    • Customize date ranges and time periods.

    • Granularity: Daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly data.

Engagement Metrics

  • Skip Rate: Percentage of listeners who skipped the track.

  • Completion Rate: Percentage of listeners who completed the track.

  • Saves: How many times the track was added to libraries.

  • Sub30 Streams: Streams that lasted less than 30 seconds.

Trends

  • Tracks performance trends with visual data over time.

  • Top DSPs: Platforms with the most streams and revenue.

  • Top Countries: Geographical breakdown of listener distribution.

  • Top Channels: Types of content consumption like streaming or downloads.

  • Top Formats: Audio formats or content types consumed.

  • Top Releases: Albums and singles that perform best.

Revenue Metrics

  • Total Revenue: Earnings from streams and downloads.

  • Total Units: Number of downloads or sales.

  • Top Tracks and Releases: Highest-earning tracks and releases.
