Withdrawing funds from your wallet

This guide walks you through how creators and community owners can withdraw a positive balance from their wallet on Makerverse. Both creators and community owners can withdraw funds from their wallet once their available balance exceeds the minimum threshold.

Before You Start

  • Minimum withdrawal amount: $10.00 (excluding fees)

  • Processing time: 2–3 business days

  • Withdrawal fee: Flat 3% processing fee applied to cover payment processing providers like Stripe, Paystack, etc.


How to Withdraw Funds

Step 1: Log into Your Makerverse Account

Navigate to the Makerverse dashboard and log in with your credentials.

Step 2: Open the Wallet

Click on your “Wallet” from the left side navigation.

Step 3: Review Your Balance

Make sure your available balance is at least $10 + 3% in fees.

💡 Example: To withdraw $10, your wallet must hold at least $10.30.

Step 4: Click “Withdraw”

Tap the “Withdraw” button located in the top right corner of your wallet interface.

Step 5: Enter Withdrawal Details

  • Amount: Enter how much you want to withdraw

  • Destination: Select your payout method by creating a new bank account, or by selecting a previously created account.

  • Description: Add in a description for this withdrawal e.g. Royalty Withdrawal

To select your bank account you need to first select what currency your bank account you are withdrawing to accepts. Even tho your balance is in $USD when you withdraw for example to a South African ZAR bank account, your bank will automatically convert your $USD balance into ZAR and settle the balance into your account.

Step 6: Confirm & Submit

Review the summary, including the fee breakdown and expected timeline. Click “Confirm Withdrawal”.

You will need to provide an OTP for security purposed, this verification code will be sent to the same email address of the account owner.


What Happens Next?

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email.

  • Funds are processed within 2–3 business days.

  • You’ll get a notification from your bank once the funds are deposited.
