Personalise your application with your own subdomain - Set a custom subdomain for your entire workspace, including end-users to create a unified and branded experience.
Let’s assume your company’s website is yourdomain.com, and you want to use the subdomain app.yourdomain.com to host your white-label service. With Makerverse, you can connect this subdomain to your account and host your application on your own custom subdomain.
To set up a custom domain on our platform, please follow the steps below:
1. Create a Subdomain:
Log in to your domain name provider like Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy, OnlyDomains or others, and create the desired subdomain.
Examples:
app.yourdomain.com
distro.yourdomain.com
2. Add DNS Records to your Domain Provider:
In your domain registrar’s DNS settings, add a CNAME record to point your subdomain to our CloudFront distribution URL:
Staging Environments | |
Production Environments |
You can check the DNS records of your domain with this tool: DNS Lookup
3. Verify Your Subdomain:
Enter your subdomain created above into your account settings under ‘Domain’ in the Makerverse application.
If the subdomain you have created is invalid, please make sure you have entered in the same subdomain url that you created in your domain registrar settings.
If you do not yet have an active subscription plan with Makerverse, please make sure you select one before setting up your subdomain.
4. Activate Your Domain:
Once verified, activate your domain in the app. You’ll receive a CNAME key and value, which you’ll need to add as a CNAME record in your domain registrar's DNS settings.
Subdomain Setup Confirmation:
Once all the steps listed above have been completed correctly, you’ll receive an email notification once your domain is fully activated on our platform.
