To successfully launch your community on Makerverse, you need to complete a few essential steps. One of the most important is setting up your Monetisation Policies, which allows you to define how you’ll offer services and features to your community through paid pricing plans.
Setup Monetisation Policies for Your Community
Monetisation Policies let you create and manage pricing plans that your creators can subscribe to in exchange for premium features, services, and community access. This setup ensures that your offerings are structured and revenue-ready from day one.
Note: Once your community is active, any modifications to your pricing plans will require assistance from the Makerverse support team. Please ensure everything is accurate before proceeding.
Step 1 of 3: Create a Pricing Plan
Begin by creating a pricing plan that reflects the value and features you offer to your users. You can create multiple plans with different feature sets and price points.
Required Information:
Plan Name: Choose a clear and descriptive name for your plan.
Plan Description: Briefly describe what the plan includes.
Monthly Price: Set a monthly subscription fee.
Minimum: $1.00/month
Annual Price: Set an annual subscription fee.
Minimum: $10.00/year
Action Button Message: Customize the call-to-action text (e.g., “Subscribe”).
Main Primary Artists: Assign the primary artists associated with this plan.
Admin Accounts: Designate any admin-level users who can manage this plan.
Step 2 of 3: Add Distribution Terms
Next, define the distribution terms for your plan. These terms specify how royalties and content distribution are handled under this plan.
Required Information:
Royalty Payout Rate (%): Set the percentage of earnings that creators receive.
Distribution Services: List the services through which content will be distributed (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music).
Distribution Countries: Specify the regions or countries where content will be available.
Distribution Formats: Indicate the content formats supported (e.g., audio, video).
Distribution Channels: Define the platforms or media used to distribute the content.
Step 3 of 3: Confirm Monetisation Policy Setup
Review all details entered for your pricing plans and distribution terms.
