What is a Music Smart Link?
A Music Smart Link is a single, shareable link that makes it easy for your fans to access your music across multiple DSPs (Digital Service Providers). We currently offer two types of Smart Links for artists:
Release Link
A Release Link is created after your release has gone live on DSPs.
It automatically directs fans to your music on their preferred streaming platform.
Best for promoting an already-released single, EP, or album.
Pre-save Link
A Pre-save Link is created before your release date.
It allows fans to “pre-save” your upcoming release so that it appears automatically in their library on release day.
Best for building anticipation and driving engagement before your release is live.
How to Request a Smart Link
You can request either a Release Link or a Pre-save Link through one of three methods:
Option 1: Fill in the Request Form
Complete the Music Smart Link request form with the required details.
Select whether you’re requesting a Release Link or a Pre-save Link.
Once submitted, our team will create your Smart Link and email it to you.
Option 2: Email Support
If you prefer, you can email support with the following required details:
Email Address
Artist Name
Release Name
Release UPC
Type of Smart Link Requested (Release or Pre-save)
Option 3: In-App Support Ticket
If you prefer, you can send a support ticket through In-app Chat Support with the above mentioned and required details:
Important Rules
Release Links can only be requested once your release has been approved for distribution and accepted by DSPs.
Pre-save Links can be requested after your release has been approved for distribution but before it has gone live on DSPs.
Each DSP must first accept your release in order for the Smart Link to correctly pair with their platform.
If your release has been approved for distribution and your release date is still set for a future date, you can still request a Pre-Save Link.
Once your request is processed, you’ll receive your Smart Link by email.
